About us

Strategic counsel for complex workplace matters.

Lee & Lee was founded on a simple idea: workplace legal problems do not arise in isolation, and legal strategy should not either.

For decades, workplace law has been organized around separate practice areas — workers’ compensation, employment law, disability, labor relations, and workplace investigations. Each has its own rules, procedures, and specialists.

That structure may make sense from a legal services perspective. It does not reflect how workplace risk actually develops.

In real organizations, legal exposure typically arises from the same employees, the same incidents, and the same management decisions. A single matter may involve overlapping workers’ compensation claims, accommodation issues, employment disputes, internal investigations, and parallel state and federal obligations. How these issues are handled early often determines long-term outcomes.

Yet they are still commonly managed in silos.

Why We Built Lee & Lee

Lee & Lee was created in response to this gap between how workplace law is structured and how workplace risk actually works.

Our founders bring complementary backgrounds across workers’ compensation, employment and labor law, and complex workplace disputes and investigations. Over time, each of us reached the same conclusion: the most significant legal failures are not caused by misunderstanding one area of law, but by failing to see how multiple legal systems interact.

When workplace matters are handled independently — by different lawyers, different firms, and different strategies — risk increases. Critical facts become fragmented. Legal positions diverge. Opportunities for early, effective resolution are missed.

We built Lee & Lee to practice differently.

A Unified Approach to Workplace Law

Our firm operates on a unified model. We treat workplace issues as interconnected systems of risk, not isolated legal problems.

This means we analyze matters simultaneously across:

  • workers’ compensation

  • employment and labor law

  • disability and accommodation

  • workplace investigations

  • multi-forum litigation and regulatory exposure

We do not wait for one case to end before considering how it affects another. We assess the full factual and legal landscape from the outset, including how decisions in one forum will shape outcomes in others.

This perspective allows us to provide clearer analysis, more consistent strategy, and more effective resolution in complex workplace matters.

How We Work

Our approach is grounded in three principles:

1. Systems, Not Silos
We evaluate workplace matters across legal frameworks, timelines, and institutional contexts, rather than within a single practice area.

2. Strategy Before Process
We focus first on the strategic implications of decisions — not just procedural compliance.

3. Long-Term Perspective
We consider how today’s actions will shape exposure months or years later.

We engage early, think broadly, and advise with full awareness of how legal, operational, and human factors intersect.

What We Do

Lee & Lee serves as strategic counsel for organizations and individuals facing high-exposure workplace legal challenges.

Our work focuses on:

  • cross-disciplinary legal analysis

  • integrated investigation and dispute strategy

  • workplace risk management

  • early-stage advisory in complex matters

  • long-term exposure assessment

We are not simply responding to legal problems. We are helping clients understand how those problems develop, how they connect, and how they can be addressed intelligently before they escalate.
